Do we have to integrate via API?

No, there are two options, with and without integration.

Integration allows you to create and update cards remotely via API. That means a loyalty card integrated with a loyalty system will keep updating loyalty points automatically.

Without integration all cards have to be created and updated manually in our console.

Integration is therefore recommended for cards with custom dynamic data whereas static cards without any personalization don't require it.
