Is there any character limit for push notifications?

No. If the content of the notification is longer than two lines on standard phone displays the users will need to expand the notification to view the full content and not all users are aware of this possibility. Some phones will only display around 5 lines of text after expanding the notification so a longer one might get cut off. We recommend making the notification brief and if necessary, including the remaining text on the back side of the pass.
